Стаття присвячена аналізу поняття «інтернаціоналізація вищої освіти». Розглядаються теоретико-методологічні підходи до визначення сутності даного феномену. Пропонується огляд широкого кола концептів, що визначають інтернаціоналізацію вищої освіти в різних дискурсах. Зроблено спробу шляхом аналізу і синтезу знань систематизувати розуміння механізму інтернаціоналізації вищої освіти, розкрити передумови її здійснення. Особливу увагу приділено розгляду специфіки реалізації інтернаціоналізації вищої освіти України в умовах глобалізації.
